Position: Spot DriverDepartment: ShippingDirectly Reports to: Shipping SupervisorIndirectly Reports to: Warehouse ManagerLocation: Tupelo, MSPay: Hourly / Weekly Primary Focus:Spot trailers in and out of the dock doors.Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:Spot trailers on the yard and dock doors.Perform daily trailer checksRefuel refers when necessary.Keep areas in front of dock doors clean.Clean under dock plates when necessary.Knows and demonstrates 6S principles.Back up Responsibilities:Work on the dock stacking and stretch wrapping product.Work Environment/Physical Demands:Cold environment, exposure to the outside elements, lifting, and stacking. Able to work 10 hours..Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Able to operate a spot truck, operate a fuel pump, and read gaugesEducation:High School DiplomaExperience:Previous CDL license, OTR experience a plusEOE/Vets/Disability
