Field Service Technician

Description:
The overhead crane technician inspects and repairs overhead cranes, hoists, and any other similar equipment typically used for moving heavy objects. On a job site, you read electrical schematics and troubleshoot equipment problems, repair motors, and occasionally weld parts and materials when necessary. Must ensure safety policies outlined by OSHA, ASME, and the manufacturer are maintained during operations. Other job duties include performing preventative maintenance and conducting load certification tests. Must have high school diploma or equivalent and several years of relevant experience repairing equipment, electrical control circuits, equipment modifications such as retrofits, replacing motors, gears and brakes. Looking for someone mechanically inclined, familiar with 3 phase motor control.
