About the Department You will be joining Fill and Finish Expansions (FFEx), which is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill and finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality and IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk's 50,000 employees. FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. The Position Supervises a utilities maintenance team and ensures safe, effective operations while maintaining a high level of focus on quality. Coordinates with internal stakeholders, contractors, engineers and other providers/vendors to drive the success of the manufacturing process. Relationships Manager, FUSE. Essential Functions stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Manage team, to include interviewing/hiring talent, providing coaching, mentoring, career development guidance and performance management addressing performance/behavioral and related disciplinary action:Prioritize maintenance activities and ensures preventive maintenance of mechanical and control components to minimize impact to production:Serve as primary interface between Utilities Maintenance Operations and Utilities Operations:Develop training program for Utility Maintenance Systems and ensure all mandatory training requirements for the team are met:Develop and maintain SOPs and ensures all documentation meets GMP requirements:Oversee and support process equipment validation activities, to include implementation of upgrades and new projects:Drive preventive maintenance execution process improvements:Facilitate a productive, engaging and safe working environment:Follow Standard Operating Procedures in the performance of duties:Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties:Other accountabilities, as assigned Physical Requirements Moves equipment and /or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. Routinely operates and inspects manufacturing equipment using hands. Ability to be on feet for up to a 12:hour shift. May require corrected vision to 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder. May be required to work at elevated heights. Occasionally works around odorous and /or hazardous materials.
