The Intellectual Property Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and counsel on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, to clients in various industries. Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property issuesDraft and file patent applications, trademark applications, and copyright registrationsAssist with patent prosecution and trademark prosecution before the USPTOHandle intellectual property litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsNegotiate and draft intellectual property agreements, such as licensing agreements and technology transfer agreementsProvide strategic advice to clients on intellectual property protection and enforcementConduct due diligence for intellectual property transactions and corporate mergers and acquisitionsStay updated on developments in intellectual property law and industry trends Requirements:Member of the State Bar of California, admitted in good standingEligible to practice law in California, or eligibility subject to successful completion of the California Bar ExaminationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolShould have experience practicing intellectual property law, preferably in a law firm settingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Membership in the State Bar of California Skills:Legal research and analysisPatent and trademark prosecutionIntellectual property litigationContract negotiation and draftingClient counselingDue diligenceTime management and organizational skills Benefits Offered:Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance)Mental well-being benefitsChild, family, elder, and pet care benefitsShort- and long-term disability benefitsHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)Flexible spending accountsLong-term care insurance401K programFlexible Time Off programGenerous parental leave benefitsPaid holidays The Los Angeles office of this premier, high-level finance firm splits its full-service practice into a number of areas, including: Litigation, Corporate, Tax, Environmental, Labor Employment, and Real Estate.
