Improve business and family comfort, protection and productivityField Service Engineer I As a Field Service Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support and expertise to our customers in the field. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting equipment installations and maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your electrical experience and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you work on complex projects and provide exceptional service to our customers. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our designated location(s) in Texas with potential international travel to Mexico for offshore projects. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing reliable and timely technical support and service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for our customers Conduct gas detection & life-safety equipment installations and maintenance Provide technical support and expertise for field service operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Create service reports and certificate of calibrations for customers. Work & Travel Schedule: Typical work week is Monday - Friday with ability to work overtime when needed. Be available for off hour "Emergency On-Call" as needed. Depending on the service requirements for a particular customer or region, this position may require Significant travel as well as overnight travel (Understand the needs with the Hiring Manager). This also includes up to 75% traveling to offshore project internationally. Company Vehicle / Travel Expenses: Company vehicle is provided - Must have valid driver's license. Corporate Travel card will be offered to pay for expenses U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE A Valid Passport for International Travel to Offshore Projects Bachelor's degree OR Certificate from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering 2+ years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on electrical systems Strong technical knowledge and expertise in electrical systems Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders WE VALUE Experience in project management and execution Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion BENEFITS We offer a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible vacation and education assistance.
