Apply today!What you will be doing***This is an onsite position at University Specialty Pharmacy, located at Cherokee Farm close to University of TN Medical Center.***Hours:Monday through Friday: 8:30AM - 5PMJob DescriptionUnder the direct supervision of the Pharmacist or other supervisory/management-level position in the facility, this position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. Complete processing payments through the register Actively participatesby packing medications for shipment. Participates in achieving business goals and metrics for the Ambulatory Pharmacy. Prepares inventory reports for pharmacist review to purchase. Submits, receives, and places inventory in stock. Assistswith the reviews and handling of all adjudicatedprescription claims to ensure appropriateness of reimbursement, co-payand related financials and, if needed, as directed, follows up all such claims deemedinappropriate. Performs related duties as assigned.What your background should look likeExperience and Educational Requirements:Pharmacy technician certification with a national technical certification organization, such as Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or other comparable state certification preferred but not required.
