Responsibilities will include handling all aspects of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, and trial. Duties:Handle all aspects of litigation, including case management, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials.Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and legal analysis.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Stay updated on developments in relevant areas of law. Requirements:Licensed and in good standing in both Kansas and Missouri.1-3 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts.Background in civil rights, employment law, and general tort defense preferred.Superior writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.Strong academic record from an accredited law school.Excellent oral advocacy skills and ability to represent clients effectively in court.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Commitment to upholding ethical standards and providing high-quality legal representation. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Licensed and in good standing in both Kansas and Missouri.
