This position is based in Greensboro, NC.Duties:Represent clients in tax litigation matters before state and federal courts.Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on civil and criminal tax controversy issues.Handle whistleblower claims and voluntary offshore disclosures, as necessary.Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax law and regulatory developments.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop effective legal strategies.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (JD) and LLM in Taxation from accredited institutions.8-10 years of demonstrated experience in tax litigation, preferably with a focus on controversial matters.Proven track record of success in tax court proceedings.Familiarity with whistleblower claims and voluntary offshore disclosures is advantageous.Strong academic credentials, including a robust academic record.Active license to practice law in North Carolina.Skills:Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.Certifications:Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
