Practice Area: Bankruptcy - General,Litigation - Commercial,Bankruptcy - Restructuring (Chap. 11),Bankruptcy - Creditors Rights, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in Fulton, MD, is seeking a Junior or Mid-Level Associate Attorney with experience or interest in corporate bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights, and/or commercial litigation matters. Candidates with bankruptcy judicial clerkships and journal experience are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates licensed to practice law in Maryland.Duties:Conducted legal research and drafted legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other documents.Assist with case management, including document review, discovery, and trial preparation.Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, negotiations, and court appearances.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various matters related to bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights, and commercial litigation.Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and support staff on case strategy and client representation.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Maryland State Bar or ability to waive into Maryland.Experience or interest in corporate bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights, and/or commercial litigation matters.Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional integrity.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Maryland State Bar or ability to waive into Maryland.Skills:Legal research and writing.Case management and trial preparation.Client counseling and representation.Negotiation and advocacy.Attention to detail and time management.Communication and interpersonal skills.
