Plasman Greer , 1000 Robinson Road, Greer, S.C. 29651 is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as: Team Lead Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Team Lead's responsibilities include: Team Leaders are accountable and responsible for leading, giving direction, providing resources, training to the members/ teammates in team areas assigned to become experts in their disciplines and gain knowledge of customer products/ jobs within the team. Attend Shift transfer meetings as well as ensure appropriate details are handed over to incoming Team Leader. Conduct shift start up meetings with team members, assign daily jobs, implement training plan and assign trainers/buddy as needed. Conduct a tour of the assigned areas to ensure all team members know where supplies are located. Review quality alerts and job books. Communicate and conduct a further review with all operators in your team. Assist in preparation and maintain packaging / totes / boxes for your team / presses where the Operator is unable to prepare it on his/her own due to cycle time constraints. Print, verify and apply the appropriate labels if applicable. Review top layer audits on all full containers and initial as good product prior to moving to next stage. Ensure all quality/label standards are met. Provide training and assistance to all Operators in your area as needed. Communicate quality concerns using proper chain of command. Communicate Operator performance concerns to the Shift Supervisor on a regular basis. Maintain and ensure 6S standards are followed at all times. Will be held accountable for assigned areas cleanliness and organization. Monitor production reports every two hours (two-hour board) for accuracy of parts produced, downtime recorded, and scrap recorded. Review production reports from team members are reviewed for accuracy. Responsible to conduct scheduled LPA's Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities. Complete all shift paperwork and timekeeping for assigned area and prepare for next shift. Always promote an atmosphere of teamwork. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation Completion of any other duties as assigned.
