Through the application of subject matter expertise in domains spanning software development, simulation technologies, experimentation support tools, and systems analysis methodologies, we provide insight into areas including emerging threat evaluation, wargaming, and the evaluation of novel system concepts. Our capabilities have been successfully applied to not only Science and Technology (S&T) programs but also major weapon system acquisition programs and gap-filling warfighter solutions. We are seeking a Program Control Analyst (part-time and full-time opportunities) to support the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of multiple projects on a variety of contract types. The Program Control Analyst will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, and maintaining funding issuance/expenditure and ensuring program deliverables conform to established standards. They will need to be able to provide detailed reports of financial/program data in support of project cost and schedule status, conduct data analysis to support corporate metrics, work well in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize numerous tasks, and employ attention to detail. The Program Control Analyst will also be responsible for reviewing internal invoices, external invoices, and travel expense reports for accuracy and submission for approval. They will work closely with the Finance and Accounting Department to ensure the accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks and report to/ provide administrative support to the Program Director or Manager. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Administers program financial processes in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and Government regulations Assists in project setup in accounting system, updating as required to reflect project changes Maintains cost allocation approaches Prepares internal and external financial deliverables, including reports, plans, and notifications Project accounting responsibilities including project setup, reviewing and uploading contract budgets, revenue recognition, receivables and open commitments, monthly closing information, and change management Tracks financial metrics that measure project financial performance Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of communicating project financial status Prepares and submits monthly deliverables including invoices and contract status reports Provides contract financial and programmatic data to management Required Skills and Qualifications AS, BA, or BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance Desired Skills and Qualifications Unanet experience Minimum 2 years related experience Time Collection or Time & Expense experience Department of Defense contracts experience Cost Plus Fixed Fee financial tracking and management experience Necessary Competencies Excellent communication skills Honesty, superior ethics Ability to be a team player Initiative Positive attitude Professionalism Due to the nature of our business and the role, please note that VERITY and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
