Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer PENTA is seeking motivated Senior Electrical Engineers for our Tucson, AZ and St. Louis, MO offices with 10+ years' design/operations experience in mining and minerals processing operations with Professional Engineer Registration, reporting to Chief Electrical Engineer. Primary Responsibilities: Electric power distribution, design, and operation of low and medium Voltage Systems in heavy process industries. Power transmission, full electrical product cycle, power control and protection systems. Electrical maintenance systems. Safety guidelines related to industrial plant power distribution. Good communication and leadership skills. Computer applications such as AutoCad, Revit, SKM Power tools. Electrical power distribution, controls, and instrumentation. Configuration, PLC programming, automation, and setup of GE Multilink Protective Relays or equivalent for medium voltage (5kV) feeder, transformer, and motor protection. Power and control schematics. Functional description, load list, one-line diagram, Device location, grounding and lighting, and illumination. Control panel design. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety requirements throughout the United States, including NEC code and IEEE standards. Equipment specifications, cable list, I/O List. Education and Licenses Required B.S in Electrical Engineering; M.S. preferred. P.E. registration preferred.
